24th December 2018 - I was planned to do a Charity Trike Ride on the 1st Anniversary of Berrie’s passing (28.01.2019) but due to getting over a knee replacement surgery, this has now been pushed to 28.01.2020.

01st December 2018 - to date £2887 has been given by myself for this Research into helping future dogs in their management and hopefully cure. I couldn’t save Berrie but I hope my money will one day be apart of helping your dog.

14th November 2018 - Research starting using some of the funding provided by The Berrie B Foundation and will be headed by Dr Penny Watson MA VetMD CertVR DSAM DipECVIM FRCVS. Doctoral researcher Laura Hardwick will also be apart of this research at The Queens Veterinary School, Cambridge University.

This will be looking at markers of ageing cells in the pancreas of dogs with and without pancreatitis - we are trying to understand the role that ageing (senescence) might have in causing pancreatitis or making it worse. This is important to know because there are drugs now available to reduce ageing changes on organs and these could potentially help with pancreatitis, if premature ageing is important in these cases.

12th November 2018 - £2587 has been given to the Berrie B Fund at The Queens Veterinary School, Cambridge University
